On what level and whereabouts can I find a sub-machine gun?

lol i asked that same question ( but to myself ) when trying to get that achievement.

Simply do what i did.

First make sure to have beaten the game.

Second you can

A- find a level you like, go to the weapons crate and get the AK74-u or whatever

or

B- Keep doing the last mission over ( because you get that gun from start )
