Can anyone tell me how to go about touring NY city?

Hi guys…i was planning on going to NY city to take a tour and see major attractions. What are the must see attractions? Also, how would i proceed once i reach penn station ( my train stop is there) Once i’m done sight seeing, how would i get back to the station (cheapest way). Where’s china town and what is so special about it? Please reply. thanks.
