How do you care for a ghost knife fish?

I have a fair amount of knowledge about tropical fish in general but havent had a tank for a few years. I saw a ghost knife at the fish store the other day and I really want one. I do have quite a few tiny fish around and I have heard ghost knifes eat them. I really want one of these fish but dont want to lose the others. Any suggestions?

Your ghost knife will eat smaller fish as it matures,ph slightly acidic,plenty of places to hide will ensure a happy fish.I have one that is about 14 inches long
